Guest guest
hello Marti, I echo 's comments. I'm afraid I'm also a party pooper when it comes to ERCP's. Never again. I would need VERY VERY good reasons before having another ERCP. I'd want to know what the ERCP will achieve that can't be achieved by other means. Hopefully someone else will have more encouraging comments. I live in the UK and I've always been told I the earliest I could leave was 12 hours after the ERCP. In reality I've always been kept in for days or weeks. Though I did once go home for 30 minutes before being re-admitted. In my experience you'll know (believe me, you'll know!) if you were having attack as soon as the anaesthesia begins to wear off. I hope I'm being unduly pessimistic and all goes well for you. Best wishes Alan Hi all, thanks for thinking of me . I need to know what to expect with this ERCP. I hear the risk for getting pancreatitis is low. Is that true? What should I expect? Any opinions or experience would be appreciated. Marti ERCP
