Guest guest Posted October 8, 2003 Report Share Posted October 8, 2003 Good morning, all! Just wondering if anyone has ever had an IVP done? What exactly does it tell you? What is involved? My MRI last year revealed that I have 2 kidneys and my OB didn't feel that any more testing was necessary. The peri that I saw throughout my pregnancy, however, kept suggesting that I have the IVP done when I wasn't pregnant. I was always so concerned about the baby that I didn't really ask him much about it. Who cares about your kidneys at that point?! I see my OB for my postpartum check-up next week and I'm not sure if I should push to to have the test or just relax for the time being! Other than a few UTIs, I've never had any kidney/bladder problems. Most of me wants to just enjoy being a mom and forget about this UU for a while!
