Guest guest
Exactly Barb- You and I are the same. I love sweets and all those replacement bars trigger those cravings. Phase one was very hard for me. Phase two is getting a little easier. But now I tend to crave something that crunches more than sweets. I want chips or crackers, but I know I can't stop at a few so nuts are out for me. I tried them in phase one and I thought........oh no...........here I go again. Any diet is a daily battle that you MUST pay attention to what goes into your mouth. But like you, when I read the book, I kind of understand now why my cravings for sweets was so intense. Re: Just starting- It is to a lot of people . That is why SBD is much easier. Bread is nota core food - LOL. That got my attention ;-) Wt Wt products have way tomuch sugar in them though. I don't buy them. I won't buy any of that stuff -replacement bars etc. To me it is just a replacement for sweets. I can'thandle sugar - another reason the SBD is so great. For the first time, sincereading the book, I really understand why.Barb No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. I know I will always have to watch what I eat. It will never get really easy as one thing can trigger something for me. I am hoping that SBD will help be learn more about my cravings and how to handle them better. But it is worth it I know. For health if nothing else. Guest guest
Yes, the counting can be a pain. That was one thing that made SBD so attractive, no counting. I chart on Fitday just for my own benefit, but I don't really count anything, other than making sure my fiber count is right. Since I have lowered my fiber count, I am doing so much better with my IBS. ann < > The new CORE program does sound a lot like SB but I still hate looking everything up in the book to see if it is allowed or not and then you get so many non-allowed points a day. To me it is just a pain. > >
