Guest guest Posted January 24, 2001 Report Share Posted January 24, 2001 Good news!! I will be getting my HSG test done tomorrow - Thurs. afternoon at 12:45 pm. My dr never had to do a pelvic exam as he did the required tests earlier in January. The only thing he had to send me in for was a blood test for syphillis. AAAACHHHH! All this talk tonight on STDs was kind of timely. I thank you for the info. I will be taking everyone's advice on taking some ibuprofen shortly before the test to help cut down on the pain. I'm bracing myself for the test and am worried about the pain but it will be worth it for me. I need some peace of mind. My mind is crazy enough with this ep experience, I don't need to heighten it!! My dr. isn't sure why I couldn't get in for an HSG test with the other gyn.
