Guest guest
You're more than welcome! Glad you liked everything. The sling bags are good because you can carry alot of stuff without having one shoulder hanging low, LOL Hugs, Kathy Kathy & yesterday I got the other box yesterday. First, I have to say that, again, it couldn't have come at a better time. I spent yesterday trying to stay awake (don't know why I was so sleepy), even resorted to caffeine. I drove home through a terrible storm. was driving the park train, so I came home to just our pets. I couldn't find Bandit, a Great Dane - how could anyone lose a Great Dane? & I couldn't hear him barking anywhere either. When I finally found him, after minutes of panic, he was in our bathroom with the door closed. He can open the door to go in, but not get out; & had our usual barricade in front of the door to keep him out. He's terrified of storms, so he must have been trying to hide from the thunder. I also had to clean the carpet in the living room - Scruffy's scared of storms, too. I knew that I had to update the checkbook & write checks for bills - didn't dare put it off any longer - & was wondering how my body would ever find the energy to do all the stuff that had to be done. So, when called to say he was coming home early because of the weather I was happy, to say the least. When came home, he found the Gear That Gives bos that FedEx had left on the front porch - I had walked right past it. It was full of neat things. First, I found an Animal Rescue Site T-Shirt, then there was photo album - black with a little silver heart on front (I think I'll fill it with pics of & me - just the two of us), then a BASKET - a lovely basket from Cambodia; at the bottom of the box was a Sling Bag with the Animal Rescue Site logo (it may take me a while to figure out how to wear it - it looks like it'll hold lots of "stuff"; I carry everything but the kitchen sink with me when I leave the house, so it'll be great). Thank you, Kathy, you've been great. You really gave me too much. And I love thinking of the animals that you have helped. Guest guest
I forgot to tell you about my bill paying mistake last night. I was at the end of the checkbook & the only new checkbook I could find didn't follow the number sequence, so I figured we'd got them out of order as we used them. After I wrote 10 checks, entered them into Quicken on the computer, & sealed the envelopes; I noticed that this was a checkbook from before our bank merged with another bank & it's no longer good. It must have escaped shredding somehow. Anyway, I found the correct checkbood, helped me open the envelopes, I rewrote all the checks, changed the computer numbers, & taped the envelopes for me. Guest guest
Oh no . How frustrating. But at least you hadn't mailed them yet. The only excitement in my life is a new prescription!

Guest guest
Thank you, Kayly, I've printed your message so I'll have the name of the med when I get to a drug store. We've tried Rescue Remedy, which doesn't help much. We've been having frequent bad thunderstorms here, & twice we've even given Bandit Benadryl to calm him. He's getting old & I don't know how much more stress his heart can take. You have a Plott Hound? I'd love to see pics. -- Re: Kathy & yesterday , Hyland's makes a homeopathic remedy called Calms Forte-you can get it in most drugstores. Jingles, myPlott Hound, was a resuce and is very scared of all loud noises. I had tried giving her 1 pill during stormsand fireworks, but it never did anything, but July 4th I gave her 2 pills 15 minutes before the fireworks wereto start and she just chilled the whole 25 minutes--it was AMAZING!!!kayly ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
