Guest guest
Tina: This is not your imagination. As our children are so toxic (primarily from vaccines) their immune system has shut down to such an extent that ANY chemical assault (big or small), will put an enormous strain on their already very weakened system. We have noticed that as we are detoxing (via advanced homeopathic methods of multi-remedy/sequential therapy that so few practice) my son (age 5, recovering ASD) reacts much less to these sorts of " relatively " small issues. Just as his sensory issues have improved beyond belief from this special detox protocol, so has his reaction to outside chemical assaults whether it be chlorine or something else. In time, I expect him to have no issues in either regard. In the meantime, you can head to your nearest homeopath and inquire about a remedy for swimming in chlorine so your son won't have such a drastic reaction. In addition, we are utilizing osteopathic cranial sacral manipulation to compliment the detox and the SCDiet to heal the gut (with very healthy and wholesome food). Think: " no additives, no chemicals " in the food you are ingesting. I have seen some posts on this, but was wondering again. I am convinced that going to the pool causes my son some behavior problems and skin irritation and dryness. That is why we don't go, and my parents think I am awful for not taking him more because he loves it so. But I can't get him to NOT get that water in his mouth. He ends up drinking more than he is swimming in, I think! This is slightly OT, but just wondering. Is there anything I can help with this? Also, do any of you have a shower filter to get things out of your water while bathing? I have been thinking of doing this, too. Guest guest
Our son has very low glutathione. His doctor advises that he not be exposed to anything that would challenge his glutathione status, such as a pool in which are mixed regular pool chemicals. You should also watch out for people trying to spray your neighborhood with pesticides. Every year, we go through the threat of them spraying for WNV mosquito. Guest guest
I just came back from Spain, and my son had two bouts of diarrhea while we were there. I don't think I could track it to anything but the sea water or the pool water (that the puts in his mouth and spells through his teeth)... But the pool makes for a great sensory experience for him, and he has actually learned to " go forward to the other side " when swimming... What about a big plastic pool full of sweet water (dechlorinated water if you have one of those filters)? Coral
