Hello Kaye,

Wow! You have been through it more than once, huh? I'm so sorry you

had such a hard time! That stinks big time. I went to the good-

looking surgeon & he said it is just an iratation on the skin, that

the port was fine, he did put me on an anti-biotic and I go back on

Jan. 10th and he is going to schedule putting the J-tube in. He said

when the home nurse called him, she told him there was pus coming out

of the port, and I told him I thought it was just where the needle

went into the port He said, you are absolutely right. And besides

the home care nurses quit me. He chuckled & said, I was thinking when

she said there was pus, then you would be sick as a dog! And then he

called the home care nurse a few mean words, not profanity, but still

not nice. I gotta go. I'm whooped tonight for some reason. Thanks

again for all of your help & sugestions. Talk to you again soon.

also have a blood clot or some problem wtih the line itself. Don't

get freaked. I did not mean to scare you. I nonly met to warn you!

I had to go to the ER three times in three days twice by ambulance

until someone decided that there probably was something wrong with

teh line.
