Guest guest Posted June 17, 2004 Report Share Posted June 17, 2004 Tammy, I personally think that hearing others that have gone through life feeling the same way some of us have is a comfort to those of us, to realize that we're not alone in our feelings. To know someone else has gone through the same experiences and feelings is a good thing. I think that is the real purpose of a support group. To support each other through the good times and the bad times. To encourage one when down and to praise them when things are going great. Of course this is just my opinion. You can set your preferences to " no mail " and read messages on the site. You can set it to " individual emails " and just delete the ones you don't want.
