If she is having seizures, you may want to eliminate them for two or three weeks

and see if there is any change. That's the only way to know that any food

happens to be a trigger for your own unique kiddo!

strawberries

Someone mentioned strawberries as a seizure trigger....anyone else found this?

loves strawberries and has them several times a week. Guess I should

eliminate them?

Pam,

Strawberries are not a seizure trigger. I do remember someone mentioning

recently that they have more carbs. We use strawberries every day (21g).

I've actually found strawberries to be a fruit that we get more volume vs.

other fruits (bananas, apples, etc.). Our daughter loves them too, esp.

with her yogurt cream.

Strawberries are one of the few things Asha can't seem to eat on this

diet. I know they are a trigger for allergies in susceptible

children. So maybe they do something to their immune system that

lowers the seizure threshold. Leita.

Apparently they are a trigger for some kids. Not for all, not for mine

or yours, apparently, but for some

,

From the posts, apparently strawberries can be a trigger to allergies. I

just had never heard of them being a seizure trigger. I imagine that in the

world of epilepsy we can't say any food or supplement is not a trigger for

someone. :-(
