On the support, is it more because she slides out or for support on

the back? The reason I ask, my son needs support sitting in the

chair for his bottom because he keeps sliding out of chairs. We have

found a very inexpensive short cut to use. I am not sure what it is

actually called, but we got at Wal-Mart. Look in the section by

shelf paper lining, and this is actually a rubber pad that is used in

shelves to keep things from slipping. This can be cut into what ever

size you need. Hopefully this helps!

Thanks

In the therapy world they use a product called (spelling may not be correct)

delson. It is a tacky sort of shelf paper. We use a high chair by Chicco.

Because it has a harness system to support Leah. She has the same problem.

She needs a pummel to keep her in certain pieces of furniture. Her kidkart

has one. But because the high chair has such a high tray placement, we have

inserted a special therapy seat which lifts her up and keeps her in place.

When you have special need children it is amazing how your brain will start

to work and look at solving problems in a unique way.
