Guest guest
OK, I see what you mean now . Wonder if Dur K comes in smaller pills if the dose is less??? I'll have to ask about that, but the suggestion I made about looking down then turning your head to the left side really is working better for me now. Thanks for the suggestion, W >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> W. No I don't brake or cut them in two. I could never swallow them. I take two 10 mgs. potassium pills instead of one 20 mgs. pill. I also have the coated kind so they go down easier. On really " good " days I have to dissolve them in water and prey I can choke them down. R. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
, you probably know this but potassium comes in fizzy tablets to be dissolved. Usually in orange juice or something. They taste a little salty and funny but if you're having trouble swallowing they'll probably taste better than dissolving tablets. Lots of luck. I sympathize. I finally discovered Flintstone vitamins since sometimes when I'm really bad I don't eat so well and these are chewable... Carolyn Re: Pills > OK, I see what you mean now . Guest guest
and I looked up some of the brand names for the fizzy tabs and powder for the potassium (meant to be dissolved) There's K-Lor which comes in both packets and fizzy tabs -- that's probably the best known brand name. Also Klor-Con powder. There are also forms that are already in liquid form. Why don't you ask your docs -- gotta be easier and taste better than dissolving regular tabs. Rocks of Ruck Carolyn ps. Heidi, I looked up MMMMM in my list of abbreviations from he list so kindly sent and which I dutifully printed out. don't see that one anywhere. Or as that mmmmm like in hmmmmm? Guest guest
Carolyn Sounds like yummy stuff. My folks used to take the liquid form of potassium. It came in two colors then yellow and red. Per my parents both tasted the same.(nasty) Lots of Love Glenda --- " C. Pang " wrote: > Oops! Guest guest
Hi Heidi! I've been talking about you -- could you tell? Haven't checked into any of it yet, but I definitely will. Haven't been doing too well lately. I think I've only been out of the apt 3 times in the last week and a half -- to mail the payment for the Mayo Clinic (!), to buy food and to throw out the trash. But I will, I will! Definitely want to chat! Kauai will be just lovely in December. We'll have probably have had enough rain by then that everything will be just green and lush -- which is one of their biggest attractions since it's one of the older settle islands, it's probably the lushest (is there such a word?). Do you know where in Kauai she's staying? Actually, it doesn't matter much for people from the mainland because there's only one major drag that runs through the island and mainland people have a different sense of distance than we do here. When I was in California, the first time we were going to drive up to San Francisco from Santa Clara (it's about 40 or 50 miles I think) for the day, we packed food, thermoses, pillows, etc, for the " long drive " . Have to lmbo (laugh my butt off) just remembering..... I guess that's the opposite of rock fever. Will try to think later of more to tell you. Where are they coming from? What kind of things do they like? TTYL (talk to you later) Carolyn Re: Pills > LOL Carolyn you got it .That means my little bitsy brain is working. > Carolyn I did ask my daughter where the going it is " KAUAI " > Do you know this area???
