Guest guest
Melinda, it sounds like you've got a good resting time scheduled before you "step into the storm" as it might be. Rest and try not to worry about aything at all until it actually happens. Things may not be as bad as they sound at home. Decide for yourself rather than listening to reports from others. Hang in there. We're here if you need to call any of us for support! Way to go on the anniversary! What a great way to celebrate! Hope it was fun for all! Hugs Christy hi and bye Friends, Just a quick update and to let you know that I will be gone until the 16th of August. I am leaving Monday night to go to Missouri where I will spend 12 days relaxing by the lake and fishing, shopping, relaxing, being a bum etc. I will get back on the 31st and be here for four days then Mark and I will leave for Oklahoma to see my family. Keep us in your prayers. I don't know what kind of nightmare I may walk into there. Daddy is definately going downhill, Mother told me to be prepared for a big change since I saw him in March and to prepare Mark that he is not well. I talked to his doc this week and Daddy has continued to not keep appts. They will not order hospice without seeing him. He said however, that he would order home health if Dad would consent to it.Mother is not sleeping well, consequently not making much sense on email or the phone either. I am fully prepared to have to go to OKC earlier than expected. Bob's brother and our niece live in Carson City and near the fires. Please pray for safety for all. He and Carli both have asthma bad so I am sure the smoke doesn't help. So far we haven't had any fires, but everything could go up anytime. It is so dry and has been hot for over a week. We celebrated 19 years yesterday and plan to barbecue steaks and have king crab legs for dinner today. Our only chance to all be together as the kids go from camp to camp it seems like. Everyone take care. I don't know if I will have internet access till I get back from MO; if not, I will check in when I get home on the 1st.Hugs and love,MelindaPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com

Guest guest
Congrats on 19 years! Have a wonderful trip! I hope things aren't as bad in OK as you expect. My s-i-l lives in Nevada, but she is closer to Reno...although she works in Carson City alot as she is a court reporter. We're apparently getting all the West's rain...We've had very few days that aren't rainy at least part of the day and last Monday we had over 3" in a very short period of time, then Tuesday was almost as bad. I think Weds was pretty nice but it poured again Thurs and Fri. Sat was nice for our trip, Sunday rainy again.
