Guest guest
Cammie, can you tell me what kind of behavioral effects you were seeing w/ Keppra? Jake has been on a small amount for a year now, and I'm wondering if some of his behavior is due to the Keppra (He's also 7 and on 250mg per day). He goes through periods of yelling/screaming.... " no " over and over again...maybe like every 5-10 seconds. This can last anywhere from a few minutes to even 1/2 hour or more. It's usually when he's tired, overwhelmed, or has had a seizure....but it's driving me crazy. Sometimes he yells from 6:30-8a.m. straight, as I'm trying to get him ready for school, also yells after school. He is also trying to bite me a lot and is drooling a lot. Part of me thinks this is " concious " behavior directed at Mom, because he does less of this yelling and no biting at school. He also does not EVER bite Dad, for reasons we are unsure. He used to never bite me though...and that changed. Jake also takes 250 Depakote a day, at night only. Does any of this sound like what you experienced? Anyone else feel free to chime in....
