Guest guest
It is oxidizing where in contact with the air -- like apples turning brown when cut. When I keep a lid on it while cooking this doesn't happen. It's really just cosmetic, the pearsauce is fine. Guest guest
, It's the same thing that happens when you peel an apple or pear and leave it sit out. To prevent this, just add a small amount of lemon juice and it will stop. This work with avocados as well. If you want to make guacamole and serve it later (and not have it brown and nasty), just add a little lemon juice.
