Guest guest
Lily was switched off Depekene onto Keppra in a four week period. The switch went well. She had no seizures, no changes in her behavior, demenor, not cognitive abilities. A few days of being lethargic when both drugs were on board at a heavy dose. She quickly adjusted though and was really doing well after the next weeks shift downward on the Depekene. Lily really tolerated the Keppra. She was MUCH more alert. I attibuted that to the AM/PM dose of the Keppra where she had been on Depekene 3xs/day. Without that afternoon dose of ACT she was much more alert. No longer requiring an afternoon nap. We did continue with the Carnitine even though off the Depekene. It had such a beneficial effect on her energy level and weight. (Prior to Carnitor she was a chubby chunk.) Good luck! ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month!
