Guest guest
Lucy, I take Dyazide to keep fluid down. I take it due to high BP. Also take another BP med. Now though, because of potassium loss due to the Dyazide, I also have to take K Dur. It's a vicious cycle anyway you look at it. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> .. Anybody else had the fluid retention problem? He also told my to leave the ibuprofen, aleve, naproxen alone cause it tends to cause salt to cause retention. I can take Extra Strength Tylenol for Arthritis for pain. Love and Prayers, sure hope your ear was just a threat!! Lucy --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Hi Lucy, I'm so glad to read that the meds are working for you. I know that terrible feeling of not being able to breathe and it's not a lot of fun is it? I'll bet your bathroom is getting a good workout though. LOL I remember when I was first put on fluid pills, I had to pee every 10 minutes it seemed. LOL OOPS, sorry for that little detail guys, guess you really didn't need to read that did ya? LOL Glad you're feeling better Lucy, W >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi , I too, take Klor-Chon or something like that. When he told me to take the extra Lasix, I take two of the Potassium. I can already tell a difference in the amount of fluid I am getting rid of. The breathing is about 5 to 10 steps better before I have to stop and rake some real good breaths. It is awful not to have much stamina!! It does gat to be embarrassing at times. Not only that, it is scary not to be able to breathe like all the folks passing you by. Love and Prayers, Lucy --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
