They say it is supposed to start here tomorrow afternoon and go into Tuesday and then s*** showers for the rest of the day and then again on Wednesday. I went to the laundry mat this morning and then to the grocery store to pick up a few things. There is a store here this week that has great items on sale for $.25 each--Celeste pizza for one you can get 4 of each kind, the store brand OJ 1/2 gallon, macaroni and cheese, tangerines, oranges. grapefruit corn muffins and much much more. The lines were crazy.I like the sale though so I stood in line for the deals. I'm glad that you are feeling better. I had a nasty cold and still have the remnants of it for almost a month now. Just can't seem to throw it off. The Dr. told me to use some OTC stuff but the minute you don't take it then you are congested all over again and cough half the night. Dorothy Dorothy I had the same problem last week too. After a few times it did start. If it does I'm going to go and get some more dry gas for it. And yes thank you, I'm feeling much better! I was just on the Internet and Va. Beach is getting s*ow right now but they only expect 1 inch. It looks like it is cold there which is normal for this time of year and to think that just 2 weeks ago they were in shorts as it was in the 70's. Call me stupid and that is just what I did. STUPID !!! I hate it here it is too damned cold. And yes the temps are actual below zero here too and the wind chill it is unbelievable.Yesterday morning Tyler had a dentist appointment at 8 AM and I thought I was going to freeze. I told my friend Ralph thank God they had coffee that was hot when I left and it sure was good. I then had to go to the store for trash bags and then Tyler had to go to the library and we stayed there for almost an hour as he wanted to get on the computer up there and play games. Then had to go back out at 3:20 as I had an appointment somewhere and it was not too bad by then. I was supposed to go out but Ralph decided it was too cold for him to venture up to Albany as he had done so the day before so he decided we would go next Saturday if it does not s***. Hope so because I sure could use the break. Take care Dorothy Dorothy The sn*w sucks! We have the second highest levels in the state this year. Syracuse has the most. This will be two years in a row we have beaten Buffalo with sn*w! I wish they would take their title back! It's been colder than normal. Alot of below zero temps, and thats real temps, not wind chill. I hate going outside in it! It takes forever to get warm after you get inside! I know about those OTC meds. I take them for my sinuses and as soon as I stop my head is filled up again. Sucks doesn't it! We are all moving down south for the winters if you want to go! Guest guest Posted January 26, 2004 Report Share Posted January 26, 2004 Yes, everyday I kick myself in the you know what--I literally hate it here and now with everything else going on I have more of a reason to hate it here. We are supposed to get a storm starting tonight and continuing on into Wednesday afternoon--which sucks because I took off part of the day to drop off Tyler's medicine at school and then take care of some personal business. If it is snowing on Wednesday either the school will be closed or will close early so I may have to change my plans to Thursday. My supervisor is wonderful and I know he will switch it for me if I need to. Do you think it would work? When I was talking to Becky yesterday we were talking about taking my sons hot peppers and throwing them outside and see if they melted the snow!
