Guest guest
Stacey, You are doing so great, congratulations!!!!! I'm 5 lbs away from moving the dr. scale to that 200 + mark and I can't wait. Today when I got weighed I kep moving the top weight down, even asked the nurse " I'm I doing this right? " ...lol. I haven't been down to 255# in more than 10 years and it's a wonderful feeling. Looking forward to crossing that next milestone of going below the 250# mark. Everyone keep up the good work, your all terrific and have given me so much encouragement when I was feeling down. Take care all and God bless!!! Laurette 4/23/04 open RNY 309/290/255/
Guest guest
STAR, hey here is what I have done And I am only 3 1/2 months out. I drank (((if you like this)) carnation Instant breakfast drinks and add your protein to that which if you are using UNJURY Protein one scoop is worth 20 grams of protein plus cream of soups strand.so there is no chunks in it is good.( like cream mushroom or cream of chicken or cream of broccoli is good and add your protein to those too.) I felt so hungry two weeks after but it is in our heads we have had food helping us for so long and now we do not need it so our bodies are saying we are hungry. The gas and bloating continues for me, starting week 3. Some days better than others. I have constipation, but the M.O.M. caused me diarrhea for 36 hours, with tons of gas! Don't worry about the pain meds. I worried also, but each day needed less, and the taste was worse than the pain, so but Day 8 I wanted the Lortab no longer. Everything in it's time. I had one day when I felt starving. My hubby pureed up some chicken for me and it wouldn't go down, even in cream of chicken soup. A few popsicles made the hunger go away.
