Guest guest
, I had trouble with nutrasweet right after surgery, now 3 months out I can tolerate it.. I dumped on SF jello 5 days after surgery... I also have a message for you, I was at Dr. Thayer's office last Wednesday for my 3 month checkup and ran into who was in the hospital for a revision while you were in there. Guest guest
REally?? Wonder what it is that bothered you so much. I guess that's a good thing, as it will be easier for you to give it up. I really should drink more water but I hate it unless it's ice cold. I've been considering buying one of those water coolers. My sister has one and her family started drinking alot more water as soon as they got it. Just gotta talk hubby into it. LOL. Hope you're feeling okay today. Guest guest
Oooooohhhhh, I'm soooo jealous. What a gorgeous house. I love the layout!! If you could see the dinky 2 bedroom house we're renting out, you'd laugh. It will do for now, but the INSTANT we get our credit back, we're buying a nice, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house and that can't come soon enough for me. I also want a mini-van. That will come sooner than the house, thankfully. Our little Dodge Neon is pretty cramped. Not much of a wish list, eh??? Guest guest
Hi Dawn, Yep these attacks are scary. You'd think I'd get use to them?? Beck enjoyed visiting with everyone, she has a hard time remebering the words she wants to say. She says its like she can see the word in her mind but can't remember how to say it. Does your aunt that has MS ever experience this. Becks seems to be the worse when she gets to tired and worried. I sure hope we all get our SSD soon. Does it take as long in Canada to get it as it does here in the states? I think I told you it took beck 2 years for her to get hers. Her case moved through the system faster than what mine is. I put in my appeal in April and still havent gotten my court date. Knowing my luck I will get it next Jan. when theres snow and ice on the roads, lol. I see where you've had some R & R from the kids. Hope you got some much needed rest and the kids had alot of fun. You all have a great weekend. Lem -- In OurMyositis@y..., Dawn Green <dawn73@n...> wrote: > Hi, Lem. Glad to see you posting again. Guest guest
Hi, Lem. As for my Aunt, I think her symptoms worsen when she's over-tired and I know the heat bothers her. It seems to drain all life from her. How about Beck? It was nice hearing from her for a change and please tell her she can post anytime she wants. I'm sure the others won't mind a bit. I'm not sure about the usual length of time it takes up here for the SSD to go through but I sure hope it's not 2 years. I pray that I will get approved this time and won't have to go to trial. I'll be a complete basket-case if that happens. When you go to court, make sure you lay it on THICK!! I'm sure you don't have to do much acting, seeing how you can't even drive a car, but you know what I mean. It will be a big relief to get everyone's SSD approved, don't ya'll think?? ) Take care, Dawn lem1432 wrote: > Hi Dawn, Yep these attacks are scary. You'd think I'd get use to > them?? Guest guest
Hi Dawn, Just hiding in the house today, it is so hot outside today. The heat bothers beck really bad like your aunt. The heat makes old MS symptoms flair up. We stayed home this morn. Didn't go to church. Every time beck would go to sleep last night she would wake herself up shaking. She has been very weak and tired today. She is also having pain again in her shoulders. The cortizone shot she got Thursday didn't last her very long. So hows it going with your girls? I know your all having some great girl talk. is enjoying her new school so much. All the kids have made her feel very welcome. I have a apt. with my rhummy this Wed. Curious to see what he's going to do with me, lol. Hope you had a great weekend. Guest guest
Hi Dawn I feel so much better today.... took a nice long nap and put my oxygen on while I snoozed. In another hour I'm going outside and do some painting.... YEA! Cool breeze is blowing and I'm loving it. I really did love my chinese food.... I could eat that all the time. But, I'd be as big as a house. Can you believe it's almost the end of August...???? Seems like only yesterday that it was the 1st. Time sure does fly when you're having so much fun, huh? Guest guest
I sowwy, Lynnie-Pooh!!! It's still not cool enough for me. It's around 75 here today and I ran some errands this morning with the kids and was dripping sweat. How embarrassing!! Guest guest
Dawn, I understand what you are saying and I don't take it the wrong way. My son is a social butterfly and always has to be on the go. That is why I hate to have him cooped up in the house. I don't mind him going and doing. I do mind not being able to take him to go and do if that makes any sense. > Hi, Venita. I'm so sorry that you've been feeling so rotten lately. Guest guest
Yes, it does make sense and I understand. I'm the same way and it really makes me doubt how good of a mom I am to my kids because I just can't do the things they want to do. For instance, walk to the park (because we're without a vehicle when hubby's working) or going for a bike ride. I can't walk any distance at all. Partly my PM, but mainly my asthma. It sucks, I'll admit, but just loving him and letting him know that is enough somedays. Other days, your hubby and relatives can also help out. Things will get better. ) Love, Dawn vsjsas3 wrote: > Dawn, > > I understand what you are saying and I don't take it the wrong way. > My son is a social butterfly and always has to be on the go.
