Guest guest
:-) hee hee. Actually, what brought it to mind was a woman who has a grown daughter. She said she encountered predjudice all along the way--even at the college level. " Oh, we're not sure your daughter can come here if she hasn't had her vaccinations " . She said she just got so sick of it that she decided to tell them that her daughter had them. I could totally understand her viewpoint-- it's our right to be exempt (in many states, philosophical or religious) and yet we feel like we have to endure this every year... So unless your Dr is willing to falisify the form I don't know how you would get the other false vax info on the form unless your handwriting/fordging skills are failry good. > > Martha >
Guest guest
Hello, Proof of flu vaccines is not part of school health forms in my state (CA); yours may be different. Also, you would have to authorize your doctor to release any medical information, so there is no way for the school to access your child's vaccination records (or lack thereof) without your knowledge. However, unless the preschool is a state preschool program, they do not have to adhere to your state's religious exemption program. I know several parents whose children were not admitted to private preschools for this reason. Guest guest
We came from Russia with our daughter who was 2yrs old at that time. I just wrote all vaccines which she got in Russia on her form myself. Nobody ever asked me for proof or had any doubts. Guest guest
, I have a friend that fudges all her kids records. The schools do not check, and that's why she does it. She is an RN, (doesn't that crack you up!) As for me, I just use the state code of Illinois to get around it. I have never been questioned for using the Religous exemption, nor have I been hastled. a -- " merrywbee " <maryandphilip@...> wrote: Does anyone know-- when you fill out the vaccine sheet for a preschool, if it contains incorrect information-- how would they ever find out? Check the wording of your state's exemption law http://www.access1.net/via/STATES/allstates.htm You don't have to be a specific religion, altho I do know that stating you are Catholic can work. There are a few other religions which will work also. But so long as your exemption waiver gives the language provided in your state statute, the state can't require you to be a member of any specific religion. Guest guest
The usual religions who are against such things are heretical Christian organizations, that I know of. I'm not sure about such like Buddhism, Zen, Hindu, Muslim, etc... (it's what happens when you're husband becomes a pastor). We used the philosphical exemption, but not all states allow it. If you do use the religion exemp, I would just say that it's against your " personal religious beliefs " ... how can they argue that? scap_64@... wrote: <<<Does anyone know which religion(s) are against vaccination?
