Guest guest
Hi Ladies, (sorryy for the double post with the cafe!) So here's a shocker - my pg blood test came back positive! I don't think I believe it yet - on the one hand I do but then there is the next blood where it has to double and then the u/s next tuesday - I'll probably spend the whole 9 months not believing! My re actually called personally, I guess they like giving this news, unfortunately I wasn't home so I don't know my beta, but he did have me up my progesterone from 1/2 cc to 1 cc - he was concerned it was low - do I need to be nervous about this? The low progesterone issue does confirm my personally theory about my crazy cycle that my idiot first ob wouldn't listen to. So I got the call about the pg test right after I got the call from the woman at my clinic who handles insurance issues (a goddess) telling me that my insurance approve the cycle - and approved backdating it, so they will actually pay. I am not sure which phone call was more of a shock!!!! One more karmic thing - its pretty much a year to the date - or close enough - that I found this group - and all of you. We had completely written off getting pg and were fighting about adoption. You guys gave me the courage to try - so thanks! )) Diane uu, 33, 3wks? How do you count from an ivf cycle anyway? It will be a long 9,os (its really 10--if you do the math!)--- good luck----look forward to hearing every step of the way! J/ bU

Guest guest
Hi Diane That is wonderful news, congratulations! I am now 16 weeks pregnant from an IVF cycle done in October. They count you as being two weeks from the day of egg retrieval; eg I had my retrieval on Oct 29 and was confirmed 4 weeks pregnant on Nov 12. I guess in their opinion retrieval is the same as ovulation. All the very best! tte 37 BU bicollis BFP Hi Ladies,(sorry for the double posting - and this was supposed to be before my other post but Yahoo ate it - I am not having much luck with that today) So here's a shocker - my pg blood test came back positive!
