A 2ww is short for 2 week wait. It is used to describe the 2 weeks after O

when you are waiting to find out if you are pg. Now there is also the 2ww

waiting to try again, but generally speaking it is the 2 weeks after O before

you know (and for many the 2ww is more than 2 weeks).

Yes I order the Aimsticks from the website AMIPREGNANT.com. It's a pretty

cool website that I don't post on but read about other's early

symptoms...yes, I get completely obsessed with early symptoms. I only have 9

more days until the beta test, and in the grand scheme of things I now that

is not so far away. Please send positive thoughts my way!!

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that your insurance covers your meds!!

Hi Dana,

I don't know where I've been (probably still obsessing over abused

children) - I didn't realize you had just done diui (thought you were still

a little while away). Sorry I didn't write to see how you were doing. How

are you doing? Did your doctor say how long it should be before you start

having symptoms? I'll be crossing my fingers and toes, and saying lots of

prayers! Good luck.

Hi Dana,

My little puppy's sitting on my lap, very interested in your message - I

think he's sending some :::::::::::::::::::::::: baby dust your way!!!

Wouldn't it be great if we all ended up pregnant together!!! That would be

so much fun!

Did you order the Aimstick's online? I never heard of that one, but if it

tests much earlier that's great for us impatient types!!!

You have to write as soon as you get your results back, Monday will come

sooner than you know! We go for our IVF meeting Tuesday night, then start

injections on Saturday. After listening to the others, I'm trying not to

think about how expensive the meds are, hopefully our insurance should cover

them.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep praying.

My RE has to use it almost every time as he says I have a " kink " in my cervix

and that the catheter they use to do IUI is very flexible so he has a hard

time getting it in my uterus. It's terrible little tool. I think it's

actually called a tenaculum but it's an instrument of torture for me. You

probably won't ever have to have it. I certainly hope not. I mean there are

lots more painful things out there, but this is right at the top of the list.

I think that makes total sense. You figured you could try a thousand

times and if it was from your bad tube you didn;t have a chance. You

need just a couple of chances on the good side. Lets think positive.

Dana,

Eeeekkkkk!!! That does not sound nice. I'm afraid to ask... what do they

use that for? Do you think there's anyway I can avoid it?

Dana,

I'm so sorry you have to go through that. I just wish we could all just get

pregnant (preferably overnight) without any discomfort or emotional torture.

Some people don't realize how truly fortunate they are.

Dana, , and

A friend of mine selected a sperm donor with the same physical

characteristics as her husband... no one would ever guess that he is NOT the

biological father of those children. It's amazing what science can do.

Dana,

I agree with Pam about charting. I didn't chart this month and it's drivin

me crazy!!! One of the great things about charting is you can spends hours

and hours starring at the chart and obsessing (in a good way), the

information is invaluable!!!!

Keri,

I can normally feel when I ovulate so I chart to have a visual picture of

what is going on with my cycle (especially when ttc).

maria

Re: Dana

Also when can you get pregnant is it the day you ovulate? or later? Just

wondering. I have been so down lately I am sorry that I haven't posted more.

I have been reading and keeping up. I also have a cold. ugh!-----Keri

Dana & Pam,

Pam,

I have a good feeling about this one as well. All I can do is pray it is my

turn!! How are you doing today? Got many pg symptoms? I have always wondered

what it would feel like to be pg. I didn't know I was with the EP (until I

was in trouble physically) so I just wonder what " normal " pg symptoms are

like.

I usually try to take it easy the day after the insemination. I don't do

complete bedrest (I would go crazy) but I do just basically lay around the

house. I decided to take off work today so I could have a day to myself to

relax. It was a nice thought, but all I have been able to do all day is

analyze every single twinge, cramp, everything. One moment I am sure I am

feeling O pains on the right side (my wrong side) then the next I am sure I

feel them from the left. I obviously don't have a clue since I would have

O'ed about 50 times by now if every pain I was certain was O was. ARGH!! I am

going to try to calm down and remember that when it's time it will happen no

matter what, but it's much easier said than done.

I think 9 is fine and like Pam said hers was an eight and she got pg. It may

go up a little before Sat and if it doesn't it then it must be fine. Don't

worry yourself if your RE hasn't told you to worry. I am sure if it was of

concern you would know. Hang in there girl, the end is near.

I am glad it came out so well. A couple of years ago I took all my

pictures out of my albums to start scrapbooking. Hopefully one day I

will get started. I would like to get some pictures put on VCR tapes

or cd to music. Those are some future goals I have.

Dana,

I can't wait to join you!!!!! I'm trying so hard to not get excited (I

don't want to feel let down...), but it's tough. I'll just be so happy when

I get past the retrieval and transfer. I met a woman at the doctor's who

released an egg, now I'm so worried about the same thing happening to me.

I know I'm just obsesssing, but I can't help it....
