Guest guest
Hi, My son uses hearing aids along with the Phonak Microvox FM system. It is the TX??? small transmitter with the lapel mic. My question is???? I am trying to use the direct audio input cord to hook him up to the computer, leap pad, CD player, when I called Phonak they told me I needed JUST the DAI cord, but when I connected it to the computer, it was intermittent and had static, so I called PHONAK back, spoke to someone else, they told me I need the DAI cord and an antenna. Called back a third time, just to double check, spoke to yet another person, and they said I did NOT need the antenna just the DAI cord!!!!! Does anyone know anything about the products they sell!!!! Just wondering what has worked for other kids using the system. And do you HAVE to buy the Phonak products for the system to work correctly, or perhaps can you go to radio shack and purchase the same cords at a fraction of the cost?? Another sad fact, my audiologist has no clue either!!! Thanks, Frustrated in Connecticut, Debbie 's MOM
Guest guest
Hey We have had the same system, although we have oticon ha now and I did get the cord from phonac and it has worked great with both systems at school and at home without an antenna. I don't know if you can get the cord from Radio Shack but I did not want to take a chance and just ordered the one from phonac. Good luck Martha Soltani Mom to Sara (severe/profound, Oticon digifocus II w/ microlink) ? for those who use the Phonak Microox > Hi, > My son uses hearing aids along with the Phonak Microvox FM system. > It is the TX??? small transmitter with the lapel mic. > My question is????
