We completed a total amino acid test for my son 6. SOme came back

average none were too high. However he did have some that came back

low

What does it mean? I obviusly need to supplement the ones that are

low. How can I find the proper dosage. Is there any product that

supplement the full amino acid range. Thank you for your answer

You don't say whether this is a urine amino acid or plasma amino acid

test. If it is urine, not a whole lot to say.

If you are looking for an amino acid formula that is broad spectrum,

contains co-factors such as P5P, Magnesium Glycinate, Zinc and folic

acid, might I suggest contacting KTS Products at 888-917-7765 or

Hello Mark

Yes it was a urine test. What test do you think I should do?

In looking at 1,000's of amino acid tests I feel that the one to always

do first is a plasma amino acid. Urine amino acids are useful in

assessing gross abnormalities, plasma is helpful, although not

definitive, in assessing amino acid competancy. Doing a urine test

without a plasma test is really guessing at what your child's amino acid

levels are.

Here is an example: If the urine taurine is high it can mean 3 things

1. Your child has high taurine and they are spilling the excess

in their urine.

2. Your child has low taurine because they are spilling it in

their urine.

3. Your child has normal taurine and the reading is a passing

problem (although this is the least likely).

You can carry this to a number (not all) of the results.
