Guest guest
Oooooo. Haven't had that yet, don't want it... :-) My toes are all prickly today - too much standing/walking over the last several days, I think. Guest guest
, I have had similar " false feelings " on my feet and my hands as well. I check my feet often to make sure there's nothing there...sometimes even feeling like I have a small cut...my neuro told me I SHOULD check my feet often because I walk barefoot a lot and there could be cuts that I'm not feeling. Our central nervous system toys with us like that, telling our brain there's something there that's really not...just to have us check and find nothing there (I can almost hear my CNS saying " Gotcha! " lol). I'll be watching tv feeling convinced that I'm holding a pen in my hand with my fingers curled around it in writing position...and I actually have to look down at my hand to make sure I'm not! Guest guest
I so hear you on that one... my foot got me again last night.. while I was watching television.. had to reach down and toy with my sock.. I still have the feeling in my right heel like.. I have something, like a piece of glass, or something in there.. and it could have been a piece of glass from the one I broke in the bedroom.. though it's been cleaned up.. I did managed to find a little sliver with my left foot.. must have been buried deep in the pile of the carpet.. so I keep watching the heel of the right foot.. just in case... actually thought there was a splinter of wood or something in the and dug around with a needle to make sure.. it wasn't.. so my eyes were playing tricks as well.. And I too.. spend most of my time in my bare feet or with just socks.. I can't feel the floor if I have shoes on.. so have to watch my feet while walking.. not to mention after about an hour.. maybe less.. the top of my right foot will go into horrendous spasms.. and I don't know why.. and it happens with ANY shoe I put on.. though sneakers make it happen faster than dress shoes.. but I walk better in sneakers.. Have you ever noticed, if you go into a shoe store to buy shoes.. that the clerks there think you are absolutely bonkers.. when you can't just put on any shoe and walk out of the place???? I might fall in love with a pair of dress shoes.. but it's NOT going to do me one bit of good to have one a fabulous pair of shoes, if I fall flat on my face because of them... And they think I'm crazy.. oh well.. they'll get over it.. did have one fantastic clerk that brought me every sneaker in my size they had in the store.. till I found a pair that I could walk in.. too bad they are funky looking and I hate the color.. Guest guest
I get the "creepy-crawlies" a lot--feels like a bug is crawling on on me. I also get intense itching, especially on my back. I have bad pain on my back, as well. When I scratch the itch, the pain also improves. Does that happen with anyone else? Guest guest
Thank goodness not much with my hands yet - just tingles and some tremors when I'm tired! The weird feet things make me crazy enough! It's customary for us to stand through church services, and that feeling of " something in my shoe " is sooo distracting - and it's really not cool to sit down and pull your shoes off in the middle of the Divine Liturgy... ;-) in WY " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
I get the weird itchies that almost STING...they always come just as I'm going to sleep. And a really weird thing lately that only happens when I'm sleeping/trying to sleep -if I have to go wee, and don't get up right away (you know how it is when you FINALLY get comfy, nooo, I don't wanna move) my right leg gets the twitchies and I have ONE " restless leg " until I get up and go... sigh.... :-) in WY " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
Well, I have the creepy crawly ants all over my body for almost 3 years non-stop. Yes, lucky me! I don't like to do anything normal. I sometimes get a severe itching as well, but scratching doesn't really seem to help. It only helps when there is severe damage (pain) with scratching. So you can just imagine how I look sometimes. Filled with blue and red marks, oh the pain of the scratching makes the itching better for a while. But having back pain since the age of 4, I never had it get better from scratching. It sometimes just hurt more, because I hate scratching on my spinal column. I find that it really feels awkward. It's like I'm touching right through the vertebrae into the nervous system. So I try not to touch my spinal column. Hey, I told you I don't do anything normal. LOLGood luck, there's not much to do with the creepy crawly ants. I'm just glad that I finally know that I'm not the only one with this "lovely" pests crawling all over me. It takes everything I got not to turn the house upside down. HugsTo: MSersLife Sent: Wednesday, September 16, 2009 6:50:01 PMSubject: Re: Re: New Symptom? Guest guest
Donna, That reminds me...my Dr told me to visually check my feet as thoroughly as possible ever since she asked how I got a very big scratch and I didn't know...sometimes we might be feeling something real! LOL Also, about shoes: for some reason any shoe or sneaker on my left foot always feels too tight, not matter how loose I make it (I use shoes with velcro straps instead of laces)...at first I thought it was swelling but determined its not...its another false feeling like the " band " or " belt " around the stomach. Check your feet!! LOL joe
Guest guest
Sharon, I get the bugs and " creepy-crawlies " feelings all the time; its especially bad after being out in hot weather. I've gotten used to it and usually ignore them unless they're especially persistent. Hey, sometimes there might really be something crawling on me and I'm letting them get away with it!
