Guest guest
I finally got my scooter. The kids and I went for a 'walk' tonight. It was the furthest I have been outside without a car in probably 2 years. It felt so good. We went down to my friends house and the kids were on their scooters too. I felt so good to get outside.......yee haw!!!!! Brody asked me 'you gonna make me to learn to drive your new bike mommy?? " NOOOOOOOO!!!! But it was so cute!!! He had the most devilish grin on his face when he asked!! Poor kid! He did ride on it on the way home with me. Him and I are both under the weight limit so I put him in front of me standing up and he rode home like that. The yellow is actually not bad. I kinda like it. My friend said it looks like a taxi cab. she is not my friend anymore. I ran her over......haha..... Zanna
Guest guest
Zanna... Each morning I wonder who will give me my first big laugh when I open the e-mails, and this morning, it was you! Congrats on your scooter! I know it will make a huge difference. You need to pick up the friend you ran over and try not to do it again. Resist the temptation! Annette Re: Scooter was delivered! Guest guest
I love my scooter. I was riding around the garage just to ride it....I did pick up my friend, dusted her off and said 'oh sorry, didn't see you there!'. Actually she is the one who is always there for me to pick up Brody from school if I am running late or make me put my feet up, etc......I think I will keep her. She is too good to not have. Guest guest
Thanks Lynn! I'll tell you, I felt like I have been released from confinement. Brody and I rode it down to get the mail and went for another 'walk' today. It feels so good to not say 'no, mamma can't go out today, I am too tired...'. I love it!!! Guest guest
Yes, I would love the freedom that comes along with it too. Just to be able to take the kids to the park would be great. However, I know I would feel self-conscience riding it, but you don't seem to and I think that's great!!! I think I have issues..... Guest guest
Yes, you have issues!! (Hey, who doesn't?) But I think once you experienced the freedom it brings, you wouldn't give a hoot! And you know, there's always the ignoramous who's got something to say...I mean, it takes all kinds! So, tell 'em to stuff it and run 'em over! Guest guest
Dawn, you are sooooo funny......just don't have any drinks first. A guy was arrested last week somewhere for driving the supermarket one home and he was intoxicated. And yes, he got charged with drinking and driving.....what a hoot.....
