I am considering giving this to my son. He weighs 39 pounds. I

know what some of the amino acids are for, but others I have never

read about here, so I was hoping some of you would be nice enough to

glance down the list and let me know if any of them would be

dangerous to give him.

TWINLAB Cher-Amino Predigested Collagen Protein

2 Tablespoons contain:

Predigested Collagen 13000 mg

Whey Protein 2000 mg

L-Leucine 630 mg

L-Isoleucine 260 mg

L-Valine 450 mg

L-Lysine 790 mg

L-Threonine 385 mg

L-Methionine 150 mg

L-Phenylalanine 380 mg

L-Tryptophan 25 mg

L-Arginine 1295 mg

L-Cystine 40 mg (*I won't give on ALA days once we start chelation)

L-Alanine 1450 mg

L-Aspartic Acid 1080 mg

L-Glutamic Acid 1880 mg (Is this the same as Glutamine?)

Glycine 4140 mg

L-Histidine 150 mg

L-Proline 2540 mg

L-Serine 570 mg

L-Tyrosine 100 mg

L-Hydroxyproline 1955 mg

L-Hydroxylysine 150 mg

We haven't started chelation yet (trying to get copper levels down

first). I give him Milk Thistle, Buffered C, Pro-EFA, Brainchild

Spectrum II (no ALA), AFP Peptizyde, No Fenol, Zyme Prime, and

10,000 IU Natural A, Epsom Salt baths and Culturelle as needed. I

want to add Biotin and oral methyl B-12 as well. Thanks very much

in advance for any and all input and advice. If this is okay to

give him, what dose should I start with? Thanks again, KIM

Glutamate is the same as MSG of chinese restaurant syndrome. It is

related to glutamine but is not the same thing.

Hi,

I have a bottle of this without the cherry flavoring and one of the

ingredients listed is propylene glycol, possibly something you wouldn't

want to give with gut problems or on a daily basis. My bottle is a year

or two old so you might want to check the current label.
