Guest guest Posted October 12, 2004 Report Share Posted October 12, 2004 I've met him in person when he was performing in a Tennessee play with a friend of ours Lahti...we went back stage and there was a little boy at the side door that we took back stage with us...he just wanted to meet "Superman" so badly and we thought we could take him in with us and they would think he was ours. was so nice to the little boy ( about 8 years old), talked to him in such a kind way and then we slipped him back out the door to his parents. He was a very good actor, a gentleman, and lived his life admirably. Jane Reeves died How sad. Ain't we a pair, Raggedy Man? I used to get a kick out of when she was playing a heart surgeon...that was what her Dad was...a very crotchety heart surgeon (but tops in the the area) operating primarily out of Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mi. Guest guest Posted October 15, 2004 Report Share Posted October 15, 2004 She's the mother on this great new WB show called jack and bobby, about this little boy now and his big brother and the boy grows up to be president 40 years from now. Lahti is this great uber liberal college professor--I love the character soooo much, but the show is just so well written and hope giving to died in the wool liberals like me who feel hopeless right now.
