Guest guest
Regarding Emma, In my experience, Lily's Neurologist always spoke to the radiologist with in a few days of the MRI. Our neuro always called after her conversation and gave us the " brief " . There usually is a delay in the report being typed up but be sure to request a copy from the MRI people. I trust that all of you are keeping copies of ALL reports and test results. If not-start now. To keep it organized is a hassle but well worth the effort.(Lily was approved to receive SSI with in 1 1/2 months of applying. I know it was speeded up because I made copies of all the reports I had.) As to interpreting the results of the old MRI's, I got a couple of paperback PDR's. Helped with the " basic Lingo " , and I asked questions. Constantly! Remember they (the docs)work for you. You need to understand what they said before you leave the office or they haven't done a good job. I always tried to get someone to come with us for our Neuro visits especially. The other person could focus on Lily and I could focus on the doc. Sorry if I don't sound too articulate had a Hot Tom & Jerry! Best of Luck, PS Did Emma tolerate her previous MRI Ok? The sedation & recovery? It is a concern with some Mito patients. She did better with one sedative then another. I'll see if I can pull up the names for you. ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month!
