Guest guest
My dear pancreatic friends, I thought I'd take a moment and wish all of you a happy new year. 2001 is soon to be over and I pray that all of us receive new hope. I also ask that each of us recognize something good in our lives and be glad for it. Even for just a moment. From my personal perspective - Some negative for a reason. I believe, if we open our hearts and minds we can overcome and place any negative happenings in their right prospective. For me, it is my idea of bad things. They actually have a place in my life. I am such a stubborn person that it sometimes takes powerful kick up the side my head to make me listen. I would not be the man I am today, if it was not for the so-called bad in my life. It takes time to heal, to understand and at best, become a better person because of the challenges we each have. So, I say with a little sarcasm but mostly humor, that I can not wait to see the year 2002, the challenges and how much better of a man it wants to make me. (Smile) Only kind and thoughtful wishes for my pancreatic family. Gay Florida Chapter Rep
