Hi Becky, For a true BU, that's about it! Except m/c rates aren't all that bad in a BU. Sometimes women with septate uteri are diagnosed as BU because the term " bicornuate " gets used as a blanket term, or else the diagnostic tests aren't all that discriminating. It is important to find out the difference, because SU has a worse pregnancy outcome than BU, but can be fixed easily enough with " keyhole " surgery. There is no predicting how this second pregnancy of yours will go, but because of your uneventful past pregnancy, there is reason to expect a smooth pregnancy this time, too. I sure hope so. Keep reading--we have a lot of BU pregnancy and birth stories in the archives, not to mention " BU babies " in our photo gallery. Congratulations and welcome.
