Guest guest
, Seeing that we live in Illinois, my Father went through Illinois Lions. Maybe you can contact your Lions Club and ask them if they can help you locate a Lions Club near Grandma. As bad as it sounds, my children were also excited when Papa got his aids. The only think is, Lions will only provide one hearing aid. This is better than nothing though. It sure does cut down on the cost. I hope this helps. Guest guest
> Does medicare pay for hearing > aids? From http://www.hearinghealth.net/cms/index.cfm?displayArticle=17 Original Medicare does not cover hearing aids, although some Medicare Managed Care Plans and Medicare Private Fee-for-Service Plans offer some coverage for related services, such as hearing exams and fitting evaluations. (Though they do pay for cochlear implants, but not much.) > I'm going to call her Audi > tomorrow and talk with her about the type, etc. If you haven't asked already, ask about any programs there may be in your area that will help fund these hearing aids. > Any > ideas? You may be able to find something helpful here: http://www.listen-up.org/haidfund.htm Kay
