Kashi Go Lean is on one of the food lists. I think it's the one on this group's Yahoo site.

I was looking at Kashi brand stuff today - specifically crackers and their cereal. It looks acceptable to this WOE. Feedback??

Kashi is wonderfull! I love the Kashi Crunch cereal. It could make a great snack if you need something crunchy.

You might want to be careful with the Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal--

it has 13 grams of sugar per serving. The regular Go Lean only has

6grams per serving.

I thought we had to stay under 2-3 grams on the sugar. That to me has been the hardest part about SB, I had no idea how much sugar were in certain items. I freaked when I saw how much sugar was in NF yogurt but the list explained that these were acceptable sugars.

The Crunch is not allowed on this plan. It has way too much sugar and not enough fiber. You are putting back in all the sugar into your body that you spend so much time getting out of your body. Switch brands to the regular or one of the other "allowed" cereals. Carol

The updated book of Good fats, Good cartbs only lists Go Lean not Go Lean Crunch as a good choice.

I haven't had any cold cereal in three months, because all the

acceptable cereals have wheat in them. I wonder if there are any

cereals out there that are wheat-free and also SBD compliant.

Thanks. Yes, I compared all the Kashi cereals available yesterday and I did purchase the Go Lean because it had the least amount of sugar. Thanks.

Well, serves me right for not reading the label. I was just so glad to be able to have cereal again since I really don't like eggs. I do love regular Kashi also, so that will be on the shopping list from now on. Luckily, our local Giant had the new SouthBeach cereal on sale, so now I'm using that.
