Guest guest
Hello to all, It sounds like many of you were able to join in the celebration of this special time together with family and friends. I am moved that they were eager and willing to make the necessary adaptations to the traditional meal so we could feel " part of " . I think this was my first Christmas I wasn't in the hospital (sometime in December) So for this I was grateful, anything else was gravy (vegetarian). I seek to live in awe at God's daily miracles. I receive the path that I have been given, walking through that valley, not running. I am sure you all have for one reason or another had to walk to your destination when other transportation wasn't available. It is quite an experience to see the world in a different way, with a different perspective. Living with Pancreatitis I also see life from a different perspective. If not for the calamity of this disease, I would not have the hightened insight, to see the gifts that God has laid at my feet. Before I got sick I could not be slowed down. I would pack up and go in a heartbeat. Fearful of missing some person, place, or thing I was allways in a rush to experience everything I could. Though I practiced Yoga, meditation, made healthy choices, my achievement of a spiritual existence was minimal at best. Challenged daily with Pancreatitis, I can finally " be still and know that He is God " . Because of this journey I rediscovered the art of listening, finding the real meaning of love, joy, and happiness. Celebrate baby steps in my recovery, cherish relationships with others, Karyn E. <A HREF= " KarynWms@...
