Guest guest
Well, it's been 9 months since I've posted here, as I have been very busy with my little girl! A little refresher on my story: I am 30 yrs, have a UU (1 ovary,1 tube), pelvic and floating kidney along with VACTRL. I spent most of my pregnancy in labor! (LOL!) But thanks to Procardia ( a few times with Mag), I gave birth to a happy and healthy little girl at 37 weeks. There are so many new people on this board, I wish you luck. Be positive, I know it is hard at times, but it really makes a difference. I received a tremendous amount of support here, you will to. Any of us alumns pregnant again yet? Jill, Heike? Guest guest
Heleen! Good to hear from you. I don't post much either, but I'm around. Fiona is 9 months tomorrow. How did that happen???? She's doing great. We're not planing on having any more any time soon. Our hands are full with Fiona and (he's 3). We'll see how we feel in a few years though. Dh is pretty sure he's done, but I told him to just keep an open mind. I may decide that I'm done too, but right now I can't stand the thought of never being pg again. Maybe because I had to work so hard for it. We'll see! Take care Heike

Holy Moly, you sound like my dh! I just barely stopped breastfeeding! ( weaned himself during the stressful Europe trip and nothing I've done will get him back on. I guess I dind't try super duper measures either.... I'm happy in a way to have my body back, and he could care less.) Dh and I are planning on ttc again probably when is around 2 years old (he's about 8 months now). It might be sooner if things go well with my phD Glad to hear your update! I remember your somewhat scary pregnancy, and am so glad you found the support here to get you through! Are you thinking of doing it all again? Guest guest
Heleen, I wanted to ask you, what do you mean that you spent most of your pregnancy in labor? I've been having menstrual-like cramps since almost the day after conception. Recently, they've been waking me up at night. My RE said to " make sure I am hydrated " . Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks for touching base with the group. It is always good to hear from those who have gotten through the pregnancy phase. Mikell t-shaped #1 edd 9/11/04 Hi! Guest guest
Mikell, I'm so glad you finally told the group. I was having a hard time keeping the secret! Again, I am so happy for you. I wish you a wonderful and uneventful pregnancy. Are you supporting your lining with progesterone suppositories? Just wondering. My pregnancy test is scheduled for January 28th, but my friend is going in for a complete hysterectomy on that day (cancer) and I want to be able to tell her if I'm pregnant before her surgery (she has really been pulling for me). So I may have to test myself on the 26th or 27th. This is the eighteenth month of ttc, so the 2ww is old hat. Hopefully, you won't have to endure the 2ww again for quite some time! Again, congratulations! -Kathy D., 28 3dpo IUI t-shaped m/c 7/02 _________________________________________________________________ Rethink your business approach for the new year with the helpful tips here. http://special.msn.com/bcentral/prep04.armx
