Well I'm impressed...

First time I put the foot rest thingies on the wheelchair.. they were

stationary and got in the way in the house (that's how I ran over and

broke my own pinkie toe).. Well, went to a visitation last night at the

funeral home, and since it's got long long hallways in it.. decided

rather than break out the walker and then find out that I was going to

need the chair.. we just got the chair out instead..

As soon as I put my right foot on the foot pad thing, it broke!!!..

couldn't get it to stick at all, it just went round and round and

round.. so we took it off and I put both feet on the left foot thing..

The thing that impressed me.. was the delivery guy, technician..

whatever the medical supply place wants to call him.. just left!!!.. I

call this morning and he delivered new leg/foot thingies this

afternoon! AND they are the adjustable height ones.. so the feet can be

elevated if need be!!...

I am truly impressed!!!!

It's the freakin' insurance companies that drag their feet!!!! on

everything...

Still might run into the problem in the house, definitely in the

kitchen.. BUT.. I've started to put on shoes before heading for the

kitchen in that thing... I don't realize my foot or feet are dragging

until I've done run over them!!!.. and I'm not able to navigate between

the sink & dishwasher with the foot rest things on there.. I've also

become more aware that .. ummm.. ya know.. if'n you run into something

that the wheels aren't moving over in the kitchen.. it's not gonna be a

rock!!!.. LOL.. I have to claim that the brain warts are what caused me

to think such a thing and force the darn chair over top my toes.. LOL..

Some days.. I'm intelligent.. and some days.. I'm not.. LOL.. I think

there needs to be a gear shift placed in my brains.. so that I can put

it in gear.. LOL
