Guest guest
Just wanted to let you know I'm still here, but with very little strength. You know that's why I'm keeping quiet. I sat down at the computer today, thinking I would finally be able to go through all the mail and reply. Well, I was wrong. After a few minutes of going through my e-mail I just got so terribly tired. My arms ache, my hands spasm and I can barely sit on the chair. Have to get that wireless card for my lap top, so I can take the computer to bed with me. I'm generally ok (ha), meaning there isn't anything more wrong with me than always, I just can't remember the last time I have been so tired. I'll keep you posted. Guest guest
brett my mate iain who had chemo recently found that nausea wasn't a problem as they gave him strong anti-nausea meds. he was very tired and one day couldn't get up from weeding. he also picked up bugs twice whereupon the rest of the chemo was abandoned until he was well again. whilst he was on the rounds of it we didn't meet and he stayed at home playing nintendo ds. his concoction was especially prepared for him and given in tablet form at home. previously he had been admitted and given it by iv. once each cycle ended it wasn't long before he was back on his feet and out and about. he found the last round the hardest buts its over now and he's waiting to hear a surgery date. fingers crossed. may > > > Brett, It is so good to know you will be reading this post. Guest guest
Brett, I want you to know that you are in my thoughts, prayers and in my heart...every day. I am so glad that you are pursuing treatment for the cancer. At least there is treatment out there. Nothing for the PF. But, I also realize how caustic and harmful it will be to your body.
