Give it a shot... Terry in KC << If there is anyone that can give any information on social security disability. I have read the SSDI information from top5plus5com. I found this helpful but still have a lot of questions. I am going to see SS the end of this month. Thank You Bruce >>

Guest guest
Tita, try to remember how good you felt when you first started losing. Try to take a few minutes every few hours to just be by yourself (and God) (even if you have to lock yourself in the bathroom for a few minutes), meditate and let go of some of the stress. I will keep you in my prayers...Good luck... D
Guest guest
Pennie, Please don't listen to them. You are doing great. Before you do anything like take fat burners please please check with your Doctor. Your only a few weeks out from surgery and have already 20 +/- pounds. I think that's fantastic. Keep up the good work. Every body is different and we all lose at a different rate. I am 8 weeks out from surgery had have lost 30 pounds. Certainly am not complaining. Guest guest
Okay, according to my calculations you have lost 31 pounds since your surgery. Your surgery has not even been a full month yet. I would say you are doing great. The average weight loss for the first month is approx. 25 to 30 pounds (correct me if I'm wrong folks), so therefore it seems you are on the right path. As for taking over the counters, I would avoid that at all cost, especially since you said you had a heart attack. When you start feeling like it, I think walking or working out in the pool would be your best bet. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Absolutely right Vickie. The site with the weightloss predictions puts Pennie right where she should be at the 1 month point (between 26-34 pound loss when starting at 312). Just keep a positive attitude Pennie, work out, eat what you should when you should, how you should (ie: Pouch Rules for Dummies) and you'll keep on the mark. Best of luck! Guest guest
Pennie, 31lbs. in one month I think is great you should be proud of yourself. I don't know how fat burners work. So be careful. Everyone loses at a different rate. I lost about 20lbs a month at first-give or take a few. They have a site you can go to to see if your on track or not. Sorry don't remember it, but others here should be able to tell you. Keep up the good work!! 11/24/03 316/213/145 pennie walley wrote:i am pennie and i had open surgery on may 28 2004 weight was 312 and now 281. some peoplesay iam not losing weight fast enough and that i should start taking fat burners or diet pills and i dont know what to do can some one helpme i cantsee the differnce in my weight yet and iam not sure if thats normal __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Why would people even say your not losing fast enough? That's crazy! Before you know it, people will notice how much weight you've lost. What other diet coulc you have lost this much weight in 1 month's time? You don't need diet pills or fat burners-that's why we had this surgery is to stay away from things like that that didn't work in the past. in WA --- pennie walley wrote: > i am pennie and i had open surgery on may 28 2004 > weight was 312 and now 281. some peoplesay iam not > losing weight fast enough and that i should start > taking fat burners or diet pills and i dont know > what to do can some one helpme i cantsee the > differnce in my weight yet and iam not sure if thats > normal > > __________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
Don't listen to what other people say!!!! Take care of your body and do all the necessary things, follow the rules and the weight has no choice but to come off. Suggesting diet pills and fat burners is nothing but ignorance and stupidity on their part. Ask yourself when the last time you lost 31 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks. To me it sounds like you are exactly where you need to be.
