As you know the doctor got away with it in my case but now I have new evidence from Germany we shall see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went for a "no win no fee" as I couldn't afford to do it anyother way. Guest guest Posted September 13, 2002 Report Share Posted September 13, 2002 Hello Lesia, I got in touch with a solicitor in Holborn who verified the fact that there is a 3 year time limit in which to bring a law suit. Unfortunately I am just outside that period. I am annoyed becuase the medical profession has constantly reassured me that AS is not something you can sue for so I hadn't pursued that area at all. Anyway I am going to get in touch with a friend of a friend who deals with cases like this all the time and see where I can go from here. I had been repeatedly told that this really wasn't anything I could sue for despite my suspicions otherwise, which is why I hadn't really pursued that course of action. I was also waiting to see if I could have another baby - in which case I wouldn't bother with a lawsuit - however this now seems much more difficult than I ever had imagined it would be! As for the A list, these need to be recommended by another A list doctor. This way, we keep our high standard of doctors and we can know for sure that only the best will be on that list. If you feel you have a B list doctor then please go ahead and add him to the list. If you, on the other hand think there might be an A list doctor, then perhaps you can forward his name and some of the members seeing an A list doctor can ask them about him.
