This is just fine.

The other stuff comes along from making the PC from soy based

lecithin. The rest is also good for you.

Thank you, Mandi for bringing this to my attention. Our PhosChol is

about to run out and I was looking for a more affordable brand.

This supp has been very good for our son. I think that it can work

synergistically with other liver/bile strengthening supps (eg

glycine, taurine, inositol, Ojibwa Tea) to really enhance detoxing.

Probably best to give it with enzymes as it is soy-derived.

Good luck with it!

Eggs are a very good source of phosphotidylcholine and other lipids! Years

ago (30+) I did a preparation and purification of the total fats in egg

yolks. I used 5 dozen egg yolks, performed various extraction and

purification procedures over several weeks in the lab and obtained

approximately: 150 grams of lecithin, 30 grams of cholesterol, and aprox 12

grams combined of phosphotidyl serine, phosphotidyl ethanolamine,

phosphotidyl inisitol-all very nutritious lipids at a very low price; I

would think they are also very bioavailable, and the fact that they are in

combination may make them even more available. Assuming that the eggs are

of free-range happy, well-fed, and disease-free chickens, they should be a

good inexpensive source of these important dietary fats. Just a little

factoid, in case anyone is interested. Hans-Jurgen Schwartz, DDS

Hi folks...I am having trouble finding phosphatidylcholine. mentioned

only the expensive stuff worked for her. Everything I am finding is cheap. I

guess I can get it from the Village Green Apothocary but I was trying to get it

NOW. Can anyone tell me if you get it from other places and what form you use

and how much (3.0 age). The Vitamin Store people said I should use

phosphatidylserine...(that's not cheap) but I was afraid to do something

different from what you all are using. Aggie

Hi Aggie -

My doctor recommended PhosphatidylCholine from BodyBio. You can

purchase it from their website www.bodybio.com. Not sure how quick it

ships.

I haven't tried it yet since we are just starting the ProEFA and

vitamin E....I don't like to try too many things at once.

There is also a pretty detailed brochure from BodyBio on the PC. A

lot of it is quite over my head. However, it did advise to add

folinic acid and a methylated form of B-12 when using its PC. It

indicates that this will encourage the conversion of the PE to PC.

Again, not sure what this means but probably a good idea to read the

brochure to make sure you are using it properly.

Ohhhhhh ok...thanks. I guess I have MORE reading to do. Did your doctor tell

you how to get the folinic acid and methylated B-12? Aggie
