Oh DonnaPlease get someone else to test the water. I can't control my laughing just thinking how you will try to get that knee cap inside the bath. Hey, I have trouble getting out of the bath these days. So please kids, don't try this at home. Leave it for the stuntman. Can you imagine if someone behind you would say booh at that time? LOL Sorry, couldn't resist it. Yes, that's the problem. We look all flushed and feeling really tired after that bath. Oh, I'm so glad that you know what I'm talking about, it feels sometimes so silly. My left hand is sometimes better, only sometimes. But hey, when I get in and turn blue, I know I still need some cold water. And when I turn red, I know I need more hot water. LOL I wonder why I always

feel so exhausted. Hugs and love sweetieTo: MSersLife Sent: Saturday, September 5, 2009 5:01:38 PMSubject: Re: Re: Looking for a list

I can't use my elbow to test the temperature of the water.. the only

place I have that kind of skin sensation is the outside of my kneecap..

but after May.. I'm pretty sure the only place is now the outside of the

right kneecap.. that ought to be one pretty picture for anyone standing

behind me with a camera as I place a kneecap in the water to test the

temperature. . LOL

Course sez.. I don't do that.. I just come out looking like a

freshly cooked lobster.. and then I call for my wheelchair.. LOL

Okay, DonnaYou can write a song. I can imagine how hilarious it was with the little nephew. Well, you know they say that kids always tells the truth. Be dumb, do do. LOL Please don't tell , he'll probably slap me silly. Hey, I can be silly all myself, don't need no slapping for that. LOLTo: MSersLife Sent: Saturday, September 5, 2009 5:08:45 PMSubject: Re: Re: Looking for a list

Oh LOL

I don't get depressed with the MS-PMS blues... (that was supposed to

sound like a blues song title.. lol)... PMS made me do things like slam

cupboard doors.. throw things.. screech... (the boys learned to steer

clear of me during PMS.. just hides somewhere now.. LOL)... but

once the roller coaster ride began.. I got a double whammy of the mood

swings... thus the MS-PMS blues... great title for a song.. doncha

think?... Course I can't think of a tune or words to go with it.. cause

has now caused... "I can bring home the bacon.... Fry it up in a

pan... and never never never...".. tune stuck in my head.. cause he's

been running around singing it for the past three or four days.. LOL...

Sort of like the other one.. it's Herb Alpert's Spanish Flea.. tune..

but he uses.. do do da do.. and such.. but the really funny part was

when his 3 year old grand-nephew started singing along.. except he would

sing.. be dumb be dumb.. do do da do.. be dumb be dumb.. LOL.. it was

hilarious.. though you might have had to be there at the time... LOL

I've found that sometimes my hands and feet are extra sensitive to heat. So a coffee mug burn sometimes more than usual. And I used to walk barefoot all year round. Even in winter time. Shoes just hurt too much. I have sandals that I wear when we go shopping. But this year, I got me some boots. But in the sandals, my toes would get this bright red color, not from the cold outside, but the warm feeling from inside. It would be more ticklish and sensitive to anything. Not sure if it's good or bad. But I know what you mean about little things. I'm right handed, but my left hand has to do most of the things. I can't open a bottle or jar with my right hand, it's too painful and I don't have enough strength in it. But sometimes, my left hand's wrist is so painful, that I use the right hand instead. That's

the times that I knew I'm really in trouble, because if the weak hand feels stronger, well, that's bad.Good luck and take careTo: MSersLife Sent: Saturday, September 5, 2009 8:22:00 PMSubject: Re: Re: Looking for a list

Yes, adults words can have a huge impact on kids. I remember when I was a kid I wanted to be a singer. I sang all of the time. One day I was singing along to Barbra Streisand's "People" and I overheard my parents talking, Mom said that I wanted to be a singer. Then I heard Dad say that I couldn't hold a note in a paper bag. I never sang again, and whenever I try, I burst out in tears, still, and I am 55! I did at one time go to a singing teacher and she said I have a wide octave range and perfect pitch..I COULD have been a singer. But on the flip side...in high school my Spanish teacher told me that I would NEVER learn Spanish, even though I was moving TO Spain. After 6 months there, I wrote her a letter, in Spanish. Then when she wrote me back, I corrected her letter (in red) and sent her a 5 page letter (in Spanish) explaining the corrections. Ok so I was a bit of a smartass...still am...sometimes I think that's how I'm still alive... ~*~ Akiba~*~ ~*~Pragmatic Visionary~*~ The World revolves around the Sun My World revolves around My Son -- Re: Re: Looking for a list>>> I have to test temperature on my cheek or lips, it was the hardest> thing for me to lose. It's a shame that there are teachers like that, but unfortunately, you get that kind all over the world. I can just imagine how you felt. It must have been so hard to write with your right hand. Hey, I can type and do some things with the "dumb" hand, but writing, oh no, you won't have an idea what's going on there.I'm really sorry that you had to go through such an ordeal. It's really sad how easy it is for a person to be rude with another. They never will knew what that rudeness do to another. It's like you say, the body adapt. I also find that I adapt with the intensity of the pain I have. Before I was crying about it, now I just live with it. I think we adjust to everything, it's sometimes just too much to handle.Hugs and take careTo: MSersLife Sent: Sunday, September 6, 2009 6:11:34 PMSubject: Re: Re: Looking for a list

Wish I could see that Spanish teacher's face when she got her corrections. LOL Oh,it must have been priceless. Good for you. I've had people telling me that I'm too long. So I always felt like a freak. And believe me brown hair and brown eyes weren't the right color to have. Well, later on I found out that brown haired people sometimes have a little bit brains. And brown eyes can handle sunlight so much better. And it goes well with any make up color. Yes, we all have our broken hearts and injuries that we carry along for ever. I still feel like a freak, but hey, who wants to be perfect and rude, without any tact like those perfect little people. Yes, adults words can have a huge impact on kids. I remember when I was a kid I wanted to be a singer. I sang all of the time. One day I was singing along to Barbra Streisand's "People" and

I overheard my parents talking, Mom said that I wanted to be a singer.
