Guest guest
I certainly know how you anxious you are to get completely off the Pred., although, you're probably even more so, since you've been on it much longer than I have. I do hope you start to feel better and your Pred. doesn't have to be upped again. Any more news on the transplant?? Guest guest
Hi Vicki, Sorry to hear that the reduction is knocking you around a bit. I actually take 5mg of folic acid on Mon and Fri and the metho on Wed. Gets complicated, don't it! I too long for the day when I am off pred altogether but we do have to watch that the whole nasty thing doesn't flare again. Any chance of a lung transplant in the near future? Hope you feel better today, it's teaming with rain here, by the way. Guest guest
Hi Vicki, You are right, I myself take 2mg daily as dr. orders. I was on one a day and raised it to two. Seems to make me feel a little better. He even said I might try 3mg on shot day. Guest guest
Hi Zanna, Sounds like you are having a busy time around the house lately, hope it all looks good when finished. Regarding folic acid, I actually take 5mg on mon and fri and metho on Wed, and these days take the metho at night and don't notice any nausea, thank goodness. I really hate feeling sick! I hope the heat isn't too bad over there, we are in the midst of Winter here. Guest guest
Hi Lynn, Not really. Fatigue seems to hit me randomly throughout the day, every day. I'm sort of like a spring! Up and down. So how are you doing? I expect you are having a great time with your son and daughter-in-law - so glad she is nice. By the way, how old are your boys? You look pretty young to me to have them grown up. Guest guest
Hi, Lesley. I'm pretty sure the Methx. causes fatigue. It just has to, because I'm not a bit of good for about 3 days afterward. We went to pick up the girls today and just got home. We stayed for about 5 hours and had a nice barbecue/visit. It's very nice to have them back home with us. It was a bit too quiet without them. LOL. Remind me I said that in about 2 days time, will ya?? ) How are you doing today? Guest guest
Wow Lynn! My girls are the same age as your boys, how weird. turned 24 in July, Tori was 22 in May and 20 in Feb. None of mine are married, but all have boyfriends. Not looking forward to the wedding expense, although the way they all talk they don't seem to be interested in marriage till at least 30 over here. They think it ridiculous that I was only 20 and 22 when we got married in the dark ages! I am feeling " average " thanks. Still a bit nauseous and it can't be the methx as I don't take it until tonight. Can't seem to feel normal lately. sigh!
