Hey thanks so much for the note of encouragement! It's good to know I

have lots of friend praying for me daily! Today has been rough. Lots of

PAIN!!! I am so tired of it! It is sometimes hard to get out of bed let

alone take care of all the kids. But you know the Lord gets me through!

Hope all is well with you?

How long have you suffered with this cp? What meds are you on?Pain

enzimes, etc.?

Well all for now. Keep in touch,

Dear ,

Always listen to your inner self.....tell your doctor that you feel that the

gallbladder surgery may not be the answer. Make sure after you have surgery,

you tell them accurately about the pain. If it is your pancreas, you will

probably still have an immense amount of pain after the surgery (I did) thats

when they did an ERCP on me...just 2 days after my gallbladder was out!

I am praying for you! It is a pretty easy procedure.....not a very big scar

either....Thank GOD! Just be honest with them after surgery! Dr. Lehman's

group is the best! You will be taken care of real well.

Always,

Holly

WOW!!

Dear :

I'm very, very proud of you, for you are clearly an incredibly brave

woman!

I'm pleased too that you have support from home, in your family to assist

you in this rather difficult time. The good news I hope, is that the hardest

part is over - that is the hell that you have already lived through.

Now you have before you the carpet of a brand new clean exciting

beautiful glorious new life!! WooHoo!!!WOOHOOOOO!!!!!!

YEEEAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY

GET THE HELL OUT THERE AND START SHAKIN' YOUR MONEY-MAKER, WOMAN!! GO!!!

We'll be watching and listening, young lady, so tell us everything about

the operation, how the healing goes, etc. The good news is that you get to

lay around aching and in pain demanding more medication, drinking water

(LOTS... TELL HER PONCHO.)... and chocolate shakes, with the remote in your

hand and just nod your head and slobber... no cooking, no cleaning,

etc...just order them around and take your three (TO SIX... THREE TO SIX A

DAY... IT SAYS THAT RIGHT THERE ON THE BOTTLE DAMN IT.) THREE TO SIX A DAY

TO BE ONE SHINNY VEGETABLE AND CATCH UP ORPHAN. DO IT. ] (Oh yeah... and

get a bell... You'll find it to be one of your best investments.)

Peace,

Terry in KC

- I am jealous (and I didn't even eat Big Mac's before this stuff) but

I decided the other day that I would be willing to do serious bodily injury

for some pecan pie - oh well. TTFN,

Dear ;

Congratulations to you and much continued success!!

It might perhaps be too early, but I hope youi'll fill us in on things like

levels of productivity, energy, lethargy, depression, etc... You have a

captive audience.

My experience was that the removal of the gb wasnot much of an issue,

other than it set off a bout of CP for me, so it TURNED INTO major trauma.

I hope this is not common.

I believe there are folks currently on the list planning gb removal, so

please, fill us in about how things go when it works right!!

Sincerely,

Terry in KC

Terry - I think I must have come about this whole thing backwards - I had

diarrhea for 6 months that was unexplained - would stop for a while when I

took Prevacid - then had my gall bladder removed - then had my acute attack

that landed me in the hospital (after going to urgent care the day before

and being told it was likely an ulcer for which I received some slimy green

stuff to drink that actually took the edge off the pain for a while) so my

gall bladder had already been gone for several months before hand. TTFN,
