yes, I had the eye twitching. This is common due to Lyme according to LLMD.

i had very minor eyelid twitching years ago when i had overgrowth of candida.

this would happen whenever i ingested significant carbohydrates.

eventuallly thru good diet and fresh aloe and wheatgrass juice and probiotics

my candida became a non issue.

Hi Glenda. magnesium orotate is highly absorbed, especially when you chew it

up. Had a friend who did mag injections and mag oro and said the mag oro worked

just as well and costs alot less. You might try it.

Some magnesiums are so crude your body can hardly use them. But mag oro goes

into the blood and passes the cell wall and goes into the living things in the

cell. Oxide, for instance, won't even penetrate the cell.

Blessings

Eye twitches

I have been experiencing some symptoms that look like they point to

magnesium deficiencies. I have had very sore feet, gallstones, eye

twitches (both eyes going at the same time to the point I can't keep

them open) and sometimes kidney pain. I found a post (below) that says

they needed injections to bring up the intramuscular magnesium level

before the oral would absorb effectively. I was wondering how much of a

difficiency would have to be before one would have to resort to

injections? Someone on one of my lists said that sore feet and

gallstones could be caused by a magnesium deficiency, too.

Any input would be appreciated

Glenda

has anyone else had eye twitches here. is this a result of toxicity and what do

you take for it. Most people tell me it's a nervous thing but I don't believe

it. Maybe allergy related?

thanks so much

Hi,I am taking double magnesium of my calcium 648mg/333mg. I have

been at this dosage since the beginning. Could something have been

happened to change my requirements for magnesium. The jumps in my

body and legs that I used to have at night, have gone away. I can

try changing the dosage of magnesium.

Thanks for your reply, Ellen " -)

I had the eye twitching when I was first infected and it got worse from there

(didnt find out what it was until 2 years later). Whenever we have any

neurological or neuromuscular symptoms, its most likely due to some of the 73

different neurotoxins produced by candida both during overgrowth and die off.

For me it was eye lid muscles, thigh muscles and lower leg muscles that had

crawling skin, or what I called worms under the skin because that what it looks

and feels like when it twitches. It can also present in the form of phantom pain

and itching, such as burning in an extremeity or one side of the head, or I also

had something that felt like I had a hair tickling the outside of my nose or

face but there was clearly nothing there.

So just chalk it up to a low level infection and keep up the probiotics and anti

fungalsMJ

Ellen,

I was doing the ionic footbaths, it was pulling minerals out!! Of couse I was

not informed of this before doing them. It didn't take long for me to feel the

affects of low magnesium!!

I know if you don't have enough vitD, you will not absorb calcium or magnesium

correctly.

I'm sure Bee will have more insight than I, I just thought I would share my

experience. You never know when it could be helpful to someone else.

HI Ellen,

I had this happen to me not too long ago. My particular instance was I was

not drinking enough water, and I was dehydrated. I was also experiencing a

lot of floaters in that eye as well. As soon as I started drinking more

water, both problems went away. Your situation might be different. Good

luck,

I have had my left eyelid twitching for the past two weeks. This is

,

It's funny that you said that about dehydration because I was just

thinking this morning that maybe I am drinking too much water and

the minerals are being flushed out. Thanks for your input. All is

helpful.

Eye twitches are very often caused by pinched nerves. I had a non-stop one on

BOTH lids of my left eye for two weeks (talk about annoying), till I had it

adjusted (I work for a chiropractor). There are nerves in your neck that run

through to your eye from C6 and C7. That is why it is thought to be stress

relatted, because when you stress out your muscles tense up and can pinch up

things.

Jefferson,

I have done some research on genetically modified food and its

effects on the human body. Sounds like you are describing what is

know as Morgellon's disease. You may want to google this disease

and find out if it is what you are suffering from.

eye twitches are caused by a pinched nerve in your neck; usually at about C7. I

had one non stop for 3 weeks until a very good chiropractor adjusted me. They

are thought to be associated with stress because stress and neck tension often

go hand in hand Think about it.

& gt;

& gt; Hi,

& gt; I still am having my eye twitches. The stopped for a few days but are

& gt; still around now for about a month. I have increased my calcium as Bee

& gt; suggested. I am taking enough magnesium also. I also have been

& gt; irritable lately which is not like me. So these are two nerve

& gt; problems. Any suggestions?

& gt; Thank you, Ellen " -)

& gt;

Hi Ellen,

Eye twitching is one of my symptoms too and I thought for the longest

time that it had to do with my mineral balances. Then, recently, i

began observing the pattern more closely of when my eye would twitch

and it was always associated with disruption of sleep and added

stressors. I find that when I take notice and reverse the pattern,

within a couple of days of normal rest and reduced stress my eye stops

twitching. It might be helpful to look at your life on the whole and

see if any disruptions are correlated with the twitching and

irritability. Our stomach may dictate much of how we feel but not all.
