Guest guest
--- - you have come to the right place----you will find a lot of support--- In my last prg (ds 6-22-02) I couldnt wait to email this group every day---I was lucky to have a fellow BUer prg at the same time (Tara) I was a little ahead, so I went through everything before she did---it was comforting to have the experiences of those that had made it through- I am prg again----8w1d=--they keep changing the due date (kooky cycles) but now say edd 5-15-04----- I am hoping this prg goes smoothly---I had some bleeding last week which I did not have with my first---I will go for another us tomorrow to check on everything --- had one last Monday after the bleeding started, and saw the heartbeat etc.... so I am hoping all is fine- the first was on the right this one is on the left---so its different in a lot of ways already- The peri really put me at ease---checking the cervix, and the baby every visit (US)-- why are they giving you an MRI??????? also why are they already planning a c-section???? Many MA women have vag births (I did) usually depends on baby's position- I hope you find some comfort here----If I can help in any way---let me know---I have been thruogh it once, and it looks like we are neck and neck on our dates! Guest guest
hi Nice to hear from you. I believe because I had a previous uterine surgery they are planning the c-section. In my previous preg, which ended in m/c, a midwife told me she would recommend a c-section and given midwife's dislike of c-sections, I feel pretty OK with planning to have one. They want the MRI for a three dimensional image of my uterus, I think because the diagnosis of the MA is so vague based on 1980s medical technology. I mean what the hell is a b/u with rudimentary horn? It appears to be some weird abortive form of a " regular " MA, if a regular MA can be said to exist :<) In my medical records they keep changing how they refer to it. The fetus seems to be toward the left, while the scar is on the right, so I'm glad for that. It is nice to talk to someone who is so close in time to my due date with such a similar medical condition. edd 5/13/

Guest guest
Hi I know what you mean about the fear. While most women can stop worrying after the first trimester, we get new and even more scary worries in the second. I am so afraid of a late m/c around 16-20 weeks. I can't imagine going through all of this to get so close to viability but still lose the baby. I am so glad to have other women to talk to. do you have much morning sickness? I feel like I've had the flu for 6 weeks. I don't throw up too much, but I'm always tired and sick feeling. edd 5/13/04 b/u with rudimentary horn removed 8/1984 > > Hello ! > > I am also pg today 6w4d and my due is about 28th of may 2004.But we will > also make a c-section, I think two week before. > I have a resected SU and have two cervix. After bleeding 1,5 day at 5w2d I > had my first u/s at 6w0d and everything is o.k.But I had a short bleeding in > the evening on friday and saturday. But not more yet! > My next appointment is on the 23rd of october, than I will be 9w0d.I have so > much fear.I hope my little one is doing well. > , 28,SU resected, bicollis, 6w4d > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > Von: june_6_2003 [mailto:michelle_moravec@h...] > Gesendet: Montag, 6. Guest guest
, I'm further along than you (25w3d), but I'd be happy to obsess with you too! It is nerve-wracking to have to go through all the " normal " worries of the first trimester only to have new MA-specific worries in the second tri... I can tell you, though, looking back, that I feel lucky to have known about my MA before getting pregnant and having really good medical care early on. I've had so many ultrasounds that I'm ready to become a U/S tech myself! So many of the risks and dangers can be mitigated and prevented with careful monitoring. I wish you the best of luck and hope that if you have any questions or concerns, you can find the answers here. This group is a fantastic resource!
