Guest guest
Bless you, Colleen. The plateau question was something I was wondering about, too. I'm 7 weeks out, and while I lost really fast at first for the past 8 days the scale hasn't moved. It's so strange how this whole thing works-I lost 38 lbs in the first 3 weeks, 4 lbs for the next 2 weeks, 6 lbs last week, and now nothing in over a week. It's hard to argue with 52 lbs in 7 weeks, but still...instant gratification takes too long! Anyways, thanks for your message. I guess I'll try to wait for the hibernation to end. Have a nice weekend! Kelley RNY 5/12/04 374/322/175 CY wrote: > Ok take a deep breath and relax. This is perfectly normal. Guest guest
Yes! Be patient and do the right things and it will all pay off! The weight loss in the beginning is mostly water weight. That is why we lose so much to start off. Just like when dieting you lose so much more at first. That is one reason people get so discouraged with diets. The weight pours off them at first then slows down so they lose interest in the diet or think it isn't working as well any more. Remember...slow and steady wins the race! You have a nice weekend too Kelley! Colleen Lap-RNY 11/03/03 315/200/145-ish -- In Gastric_Bypass_Family , Kelley <patterk@s...> wrote: > Bless you, Colleen.
