Guest guest
I'd just like to point out to those who are reluctant to ask their doctor for something or to question him/her advice or lack of.... That doctor works for you.. without you, he would have no business... true one will probably never see a doctor on the unemployment line... but he/she still needs you.... and while it's true that he/she has more medical education than you, that doesn't mean he/she walks on water and cannot be wrong... or fail to give you enough information even if he/she gets the rest right. Remember, some of those doctors made low grades when compared to others.... their book knowledge may be large but their common sense may be low.... and you have no way of knowing whether that doctor just skimmed by or graduated with honors.... So don't look at your doctor as God, look at him/her as a human being who has a certificate that says he has the education that should enable him/her to practice medicine safely.... the best doctors now know that they are a member of a health team and that you, the patient are the member of that team. They talk, you listen. You talk, they listen.... Just remember, you pay them!!!!!! and that they owe you the respect and courtesy of taking you seriously.
