Guest guest
Hi, I met a wonderful lady this weekend, who was diagnosed with a wheat intollerance, but not Celiac disease. She also cannot have milk or caffeine, but misses cookies terribly. She's hoping to find cookies that she can just buy and enjoy, any recommendation? Thank you, Isabel
Guest guest
Isabel, I second the recommendation on Pamela's cookies. Also, Barbara's makes these amazing raspberry fig Newtons. Not safe for celiacs (oat) but are wheat free. Barbara's makes other wheat free cookies but most have barley or oat. Also, meringues are a safe choice since they are just basically egg whites and sugar. Those are available most everywhere. My favorite is the ginger cookie. Your friend shoud be able to find these at most health food stores (like whole foods, and wild oats). Hope this helps! > Hi, > > I met a wonderful lady this weekend, who was diagnosed with a wheat intollerance, but not Celiac disease.
