Guest guest
Sorry to hear your health problems. Hope you are ok now. I have also Chronic Pancreatitis that is supposed to be Hereditary. My blood test for many years have shown very high levels og Triglycerides. The doctors say that is the cause of my chronic Pancreatitis. All medications I have tried have not worked. My doctors are puzzled. I take digestive enzymes that, I think, prevent my Pancreas to inflame. That means I do not have recurring attacks of pains. I still have to worry about getting the triglycerides down. Any suggestions? Medicines and/or diet? Happy New Year to you all Mohan from Los Angeles, California. newbie Scarred Hi all, I am writing this in the hope some people recognize this tale. If my english writing has some errors in it excuse me for it, but i live in Belgium Europe and our native tongue is Dutch. At school when i was a kid and we had an hour sports and i always was the worst of the class. I was to stiff in my bones compared to other kids. When i reached the age of 15 my back started seriously to give me pain. I went to several doctors and most said it were growing blocks on my spine. When i turned 17 i had too wear a corset too support my spine and several times i had a plaster cast around my full waist. At 18 i went too the hospital too lay there for 6 weeks with weights connected too my legs too strecht my back. Then i met a Osteopaat (hope i wrote this word right) who manipulated my back and all the pain was gone. He said that the pain came from a not so well working liver and pancreas. But that if i eated more healty and didn't abuse alcohol that things would brighten up. It worked well, no more pains in the back just now and then. And after a visit to the osteophat it was always better. By the age of 18 i and my brother(10 years older) took over a bicycle shop.So i started working around 60 hours or more a week and i was and still am tired always tired ! Every evening i was exhausted. So in the last 10 years i had several bloodchecks at the docter. The tests regarding my liver and all the other classical things, they checked everything in my blood. But i still got more and more sore muscles the last years. When i was 19 i started smoking pot too relax and they the preassure away from my muscles. 19 months ago i quitted smoking pot and after a few days my body tensed more then ever. My 8 year older sister got i also. My brother then went 6 weeks ago to a Manual Therapist. He said that his back pain came from his liver and said he had replaced his lever a bit and that he had too activate his liver by drinking a glass of orange juice every morning after breakfast. Two weeks ago my brother felt newborn. I went there last wednesday with my sister. I cried all evening. He told me he never met anyone who's body was so sore and stiff. He told me my pancreas is in bad shape and liver and entrance to my stomach also. He manipulated directly my pancreas and gave me Country life Coenzyme B-complex caps. So my sister has it also but much less then me. Conclusion so far is that the bad pancreas runs in the family. But now ?????????????? I'm happy that finally i know what's wrong with me. But i am scarred after surfing the net. After reading the problems that a bad pancreas can evolve too. Is it common for people with pancreas problems too have muscles pains and stifness ? All help and tips more then welcome. Koen Lefever Antwerp Belgium
