Guest guest
Interesting note about the connection between enzymes and mold. One of the things my daughter tested positive to during a muscle test process was mold. We are not real candidates for mold, (new home and non-humid whether), but just found out that I believe the bath toys which have been around forever may be a culprit. So amazing how you have to be such a detective for all of this. But one of the things the homeopath doctor has put her on is enzymes. How might I know if the enzymes are actually causing a problem? I've seen so much positive posts about enzymes and had sensed the worst they could do was nothing to help. Now am seeing this may not be the case. As christel mentioned, enzymes don't allow a person with celiac to consume gluten (different thing going on there). If you have a mold allergy or sensitivity, you might do great with enzymes, or you might not. The majority do fine with them, but some do not. If in doubt, just skip the enzymes...or consider pancreatic ones. Or just do a small trial and see if it helps or not. They also aren't recommended for true allergies (as opposed to food intolerances). The extreme specificity of enzymes is what limits negative reactions. Also, since your body is supposed to be producing digestive enzymes all the time anyway, then it is built to handle them with plenty of checks and balances. .
